María Paz Vela

María Paz Vela is a Jr. Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. She joined the Tobar ZVS team in 2022.

María Paz focused her academic experience on business law and alternative dispute resolution methods. She was part of the USFQ team that participated in the International Arbitration Competition and was Editor in Chief of the indexed academic journal USFQ Law Review.

She has experience in corporate counseling and in the application of Andean regulations. Currently, she focuses her practice on dispute resolution and her contribution is highly valued by clients and her team.
