María Paz León is a Junior Associate in the Intellectual Property and Anti-Piracy practice. She joined the Tobar ZVS team in 2021.
Her practice focuses on the protection of intellectual property rights and intangibles. She specializes in the registration, defense, and development of strategies for cases related to trademarks, patents, copyrights, related rights, and plant varieties. In addition, she has demonstrated her commitment in the fight against piracy, actively participating in enforcement actions and border measures.
Additionally, she has extensive experience in the management and resolution of cases related to divorce, child custody, guardianship and child support. She also has experience in the resolution of family conflicts through alternative methods such as mediation.
Education
- Law degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, with honorable distinction Magna cum laude.
- Minor in Business Law from the University of San Francisco de Quito.
