Los Cangrejos represents over $ 1.7 billion in investment across a 26-year life-of-mine and is set to significantly bolster Ecuador’s economy and growth. In terms of economic impact, the project will create more than 1,000 direct jobs and approximately 2,000 indirect jobs, prioritizing local recruitment and building capacity in El Oro province.
