As of June 1, 2026, the SRI system may prevent the filing of new tax returns if there are previous periods with payments pending validation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If this happens, the following window will appear:<\/p>\n\n\n

It is important to note that the Returns with unconfirmed payments will remain in \u201cPENDING\u201d<\/strong> status, blocking new filings. In addition, to resolve overdue filings, you must file and pay sequentially<\/strong>, waiting up to 48 hours<\/strong> between each process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To avoid this problem, we recommend taking the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Review pending or overdue tax returns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Confirm there are no \u201cPENDING\u201d<\/strong> statuses in the system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Bring obligations up to date in advance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
