{"id":4524,"date":"2025-12-09T16:54:29","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T21:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tzvs.ec\/?p=4524"},"modified":"2025-12-09T16:57:30","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T21:57:30","slug":"extension-of-deadline-for-registration-of-equality-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tzvs.ec\/en\/2025\/12\/09\/extension-of-deadline-for-registration-of-equality-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION OF EQUALITY PLANS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Through Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2025-184, published in the Supplement of the Official Register No. 178 on December 4, 2025, the Ministry of Labor amends Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2024-013 and extends the deadline for private sector employers to comply with the registration of their Equality Plans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This reform extends the deadline to December 31, 2026, for companies with a workforce of 50 or more employees to register their Equality Plans with the Ministry of Labor through the Unified Labor System (SUT). Companies with fewer than 50 employees are not required to prepare or register such plans, according to the Organic Law to Promote the Violet Economy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the deadline has passed, the Ministry of Labor will proceed with the control and sanction process if the registration is found to be omitted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employers who have already registered their plans physically and have the registration document issued by the Ministry will not need to register again unless updates are required.
