On October 14, 2025, the IRS issued Resolution No. NAC-DGERCGC25-00000033, which extends the deadline for filing VAT and withholding tax returns for the September 2025 fiscal period for taxpayers domiciled in the province of Imbabura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The filing must be carried out in accordance with the ninth digit of the taxpayer\u2019s RUC, following the schedule below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • If the due date falls on a mandatory rest day or public holiday, it will be moved to the next business day. If the new date falls in the following month, the deadline will be brought forward to the last business day of the original month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • No fines, surcharges, or interest will be applied to returns filed within the extended deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Payments of fines and interest made prior to the effective date of this resolution will not be reimbursed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
