{"id":1174,"date":"2025-10-16T17:07:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T22:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tzvs.ec\/?p=1174"},"modified":"2025-10-16T17:29:05","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T22:29:05","slug":"uafe-announces-the-inclusion-of-new-reporting-entities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tzvs.ec\/en\/2025\/10\/16\/uafe-announces-the-inclusion-of-new-reporting-entities\/","title":{"rendered":"UAFE ANNOUNCES THE INCLUSION OF NEW REPORTING ENTITIES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On October 14, 2025, the Financial and Economic Analysis Unit (UAFE) announced, through an official statement, that it will incorporate new sectors as reporting entities required to comply with the regime established under the Organic Law on the Prevention, Detection and Combating of Money Laundering and the Financing of Other Crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The sectors to be incorporated are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Central Credit Unions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Communal Credit Unions\/Banks and Savings Cooperatives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Reinsurance intermediaries<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Insurance Brokers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Provincial political parties and movements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 National Foundations The obligation to comply with the aforementioned regime will take effect once UAFE issues and formally notifies the corresponding resolution.
