PRESENTATION OF INFORMATION OF FOREIGN PARTNERS OR SHAREHOLDERS OF NATIONAL COMPANIES FOR THE YEAR 2024

We would like to remind you that companies that have foreign entities as shareholders must submit during January the following information:

1. Certificate of good standing of the foreign entity issued by the competent authority in its home country. This document must be apostilled and translated into Spanish if applicable.
   
   
2. Power of Attorney granted by the foreign entity to a representative in Ecuador.
   
   
3. List of the foreign entity’s ownership structure, detailing each level up to an individual as the ultimate beneficiary, including the address, marital status, and email of each shareholder. If the foreign entity is registered on the stock exchange, instead of the ownership structure list, it should provide a certification issued by the competent authority in the home country confirming the registration.
